Imaging CDs - Stories from the front lines.

What are you doing with Imaging CDs?

This section of the website we call PACS feedback. This is where we will be asking our readers to share their experiences with the PACS community on various topics that PACS Administrators experience in their daily work.

We will evaluate what is important to PACS Administrators and make those topics open to discussion here. Learn how seasoned veterans are handling the topics that could be affecting your daily activities.

Our topics will change based on the number of responses we receive on a particular subject. Highly active subjects can stay open for a month while less active subjects will only be up for a week or two.

The current topic open for contribution is the use of medical images on CDs and how you handle them within your daily workflow.

What do you do with medical images on CD's that are received into your organzation?

Tell the PACS Administrator community how you handle images on CD's at your facility. If your facility has implemented PACS you are undoubtedly receiving medical images on CD from other locations. IT is a highly contested topic, whether these images should become a part of your PACS or they should remain separate. Share your thoughts with us.
